So once we had fitted Hugo with noise and thermal insulation, we fitted a panel of ply (with a hole perfectly shaped for the window of course!) down each length of the van, and to make it look super suave we carpeted it with the same stuff used throughout the rest of the van. It’s made a huge difference and looks and feels like a trade van no longer! Hurrah!
We have however developed a squeak.
Somewhere behind the panel, something is causing the insulation to squeak and despite several attempts to undo the squeaking we just can’t find/fix the culprit. Keep you updated on that one, quel mystère!
